The Men of Discipline is an alternative Leather and Uniform Fraternity for gay men who are serious about BDSM, the leather lifestyle and who practice discipline in their daily lives. TOP
Discipline is a way of life. A disciplined person is a well-balanced person, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.TOP
Candidates will be evaluated based on their knowledge and experience of BDSM. The Men of Discipline is open to teaching beginners who show a serious desire to learn and experience BDSM and live the Leather Lifestyle.TOP
The Initiation is a secret BDSM ritual that makes a worthy recruit and active member.TOP
Recruit and membership costs include a $25 recruit fee, a $40 initiation fee and $75 annual dues [these do not include the uniform].TOP
The uniform costs approximately $300, presuming one does not already own certain items [like combat boots, Sam Browne, trouser belt, black t-shirt, black bomber jacket etc.] The $40 initiation fee covers the cost of the uniform pins, dog tags and nameplate.TOP
To be worthy of Initiation a recruit must follow the Recruit Discipline, pass the Army Physical Fitness Test and a written test on BDSM safety and practice. A worthy recruit must demonstrate his desire for initiation through his actions and practice discipline in his daily life.TOP
A recruit expresses his desire and readiness for initiation by writing a formal request to the Drill Instructor. The recruit's request details why he wants to be initiated and why he believes he is ready and worthy of initiation.TOP
A recruit follows the Recruit Discipline to show that he wants to become a Man of Discipline, that he desires Initiation, and as a demonstration of his personal discipline and unity with the Brothers.TOP
The Drill Instructor will assign a specialized course of study and training for each recruit.TOP
The four triangles of the MOD insignia stand for Brotherhood, Unity, Commitment and Discipline. The colors of the MOD insignia are those of the leather pride flag: black, blue, white and red.TOP
